Enjoy an exciting day at the historic Santa Anita Race Track in Arcadia 

and see Thoroughbred horse racing at its finest. 

 

 
We will not be taking a bus this year but it is an easy drive.
 If you want to drive and have room for passengers we will try to help coordinate carpools. 
 
Carpooling is recommended.
Your ticket includes parking.
 
 

 

Santa Anita opened on December 24, 1934 and is currently the oldest racetrack in Southern California. The day will include: bus transportation from Long Beach, admission, an extensive guided tour of Santa Anita including a rare look inside the stable area and the jockeys room, a racing program and lunch in the famous Turf Club.

 

Turf Club attire is required.

Ladies: Dress, skirt or coordinated pants outfit. A matching jacket or tailored blazer is preferred.

Gentlemen: Suit or traditional sport coat with collared shirt and slacks. Ties are optional.

The bottom line - avoid jeans, athletic shoes, thonged sandals, jogging suits, stretch pants, shorts, mini-skirts, T-shirts, short sleeve or zipper sport coats, baseball caps or visors.

 

Advance reservations are required. Ticket deadline is April 13th.

Tickets are $50 for members and $55 for guests and may be purchased through PayPal or by calling the Long Beach Heritage office 562-493-7019.
