INTRODUCING A NEW WAY TO SEE DOWNTOWN LONG BEACH!
The City of Long Beach is filled with historic gems. From our neighborhoods to buildings, from modern architecture to the Art Deco style; it's all here and waiting to be discovered.Now is the time to experience historic downtown Long Beach on a walking tour.
Long Beach Heritage is proud to announce our Walking Tour Program to help foster preservation advocacy and education throughout Long Beach.
A few of the building included on the tour:
  • WPA Mural-Recreation in Long Beach Insurance Exchange Building
  • The Breakers
  • The Wilmore Building
  • Farmers & Merchants Bank
  • First National Bank Security Bank Building
  • and many more

 

DETAILS: 

Schedule: 3rd Saturday of every month
Start time: 9:30 am
Where: In front of the WPA Mural at the north end of the Promenade. 205 East 3rd Street.
Parking: Free, at 3rd & Promenade parking structure until noon
Length: 2-2 1/2 hours
Distance covered: About 1-1/2 miles total walking
Walking difficulty: Moderate
Cost: $10 per adult payable through PayPal
